I went there with a friend last weekend. The hotel is walking distance from Blok M plaza mall. The location is probably the only good thing about this little hotel. Near foods area, malls and bus stations or MRT station. But the hotel itself is not too comfortable, not even for one night. I've seen same price hotel that are cleaner and more comfortable. The lobby is so small and mixed with the eating area. The bedroom is almost as big as the bathroom. The shower curtain was missing. But there are soap and shampoo available, as well as free towels, toothbrushes, toothpastes and sandals. There's no good view from the bedroom. The shower door is kinda broken so cannot be closed entirely. Would cause a smell problem around the bedroom when someone is taking a dump in the toilet lol. There are 2 electricity sockets. One on the table and one other on one of the bedside. TV only broadcast local channels. There's a small cupboard to hang clothes. And small table. AC works well. The water heater has to be waited for around 10 minutes before starting to get hot.

Located near Block M it’s one of a few option for the price range in the area . The rooms are basic and a little run down Shower functions ok but sink was not draining properly The main plus is the smoke free lobby and breakfast area

we booked this hotel for some nights for its strategic location, as the center of our stay for our several activities around Jakarta. the airport pick up was very good, they even didn't say any disappointment when the flight was delayed for 2 hours. the breakfast was OK. the staffs were really friendly accommodating whatever we need. they also kindly help us to rent our transport the whole time we’re in Jakarta. looking for meals outside isn’t also difficult, as many resto around Blok M. the challenge staying in this hotel is the level of noise. this hotel used to be less noisy, but since there is big project of flyover construction just in front of the hotel changing everything. I think it isn’t just affecting this hotel, but all hotel alongside the road on both sides.

It was 8pm. My wife has just reached town due to an emergency business meeting the day after. Decided use Traveloka book at AMARIS HOTEL PANGLIMA POLIM 2. Booked our room at 9pm. All good by Traveloka. Initial process was fine, although there was several hassle due to limited parking space (no big deal) But then comes several problems: 1. ROOM WASNT CLEAN, found some blood drops leftover in the toilet. Not ours definitely. Which was slightly disturbing. 2. HOTEL PERSONNEL knock my door at 11pm (while we’re sleeping) asking to move my car. But I gave my car keys to the reception. They apologized 3. Not 3 minutes later, a phone call to our room, asking me to move the car (wrong car), again I told them it is not my car and I’ve put my car keys in the reception. This time they didn’t apologize. I feel that our sleep was disturbed and we felt very uncomfortable at this point. 4. Between 11-12PM HOTEL LIGHTS (ELECTRICITY) SUDDENLY TURNED OFF. Wife was in the bathroom and mind you, since we saw some blooddrops, she’s kinda terrified. And not 1minutes after the electricity turned on again. 5. GUESS WHAT? ELECTRICITY TURNED OFF AGAIN. It definitely disturbed us. 6. And again, electricity turned off 3times in the space of 40minutes. At this point we felt we made a bad decision staying at this hotel. 7. I checked out at around 2AM because I felt this hotel was very uncomfortable. I ask the reception why the lights kept turning off, he was just silent, and did not show any smile. He didn’t say thank you. As we left the hotel, my girlfriend left a smile to the reception and again he didn’t show any emotions. 8. Moved to another nearby hotel. Service was amazing. I had a great sleep UNTIL at 7AM someone decides to call my phone 9x. Until I’ve checked who’s calling me by google search. It was AMARIS PANGLIMA POLIM 2. 9. Decided to answer the call when they call me AGAIN at 12 lunchtime. Asking for payment (which I’ve already done through Traveloka) and I request them to contact Traveloka instead. But they insist I need to give them the number of this travel agent called “PT PACIFIC WORLD NUSANTARA” (which is Traveloka’s PT name, if they are able to use this tool called Google) which I’ve repeated times I dont have any. They called me with rude tone and in no way respect my privacy. I had great experience in Amaris Hotels previously. It was perfect for my go-to transit hotel. Especially for my clients and friends outside the city. NOT ANYMORE. SERVICE: 0 CLEANLINESS: 0 COMFORT: 0 WILL STAY AGAIN? NO. WILL RECOMMEND? DON’T COME HERE.

Its location is just around 100 metres walk from plaza blok m. Very recommended for budget stayers. Also its offer breakfast. It is a nice place for business trip purposes who need access and accommodation in south of jakarta.
